Starting with a disclaimer, this is my first time playing the game and I haven't finished the current version yet.
Main thing I want to say is that I never thought I'd ship two of the girls in a harem game, but I ship Aya and Saki so hard. Loving the game.
hey buddy having an issue with the game. When I load my previous save from 7.2, it goes through the ending, then the game recommendations, and then it ends. What am I doing wrong?
I'm not sure why it would be doing that. Are you loading from the prompt that came during the final stadium event or somewhere else?
And when you load, is it skipping straight to Yuki and Tessa, or does it show any of the scene you saved at?
Loading from the stadium scene talking to Saki and Aye - the party goes on until.......
OK, I've found the problem! That was the new House Show match from V.0.7.2. So, I think that maybe what might have happened is that you've accidentally overwritten your prompt save from the final stadium event in V.0.7.0. (this is where you're told that you're almost at the end of the current version and you should save your game now).
Do you have any save from just before that final event, or even a copy of the prompt save? If so, you can load either of these and you should be able to jump into the new content without any problems.
If not, there are a couple of easy fixes for it but I'd need to send you a file. If you can email me an address I can send it to, I think we can get this solved pretty quickly for you!
not sure how much extra time it makes it take (couldve sworn I read you write somewhere that adding in the new wrestling animations has been very difficult). If this is the case, I personally would rather just get the content faster. Its not that the animations aren't cool, its just im loving the story and wanting more and the wrestling animations aren't really important for me. Don't know if anyone else feels the same way.
Again, very much appreciate the love for the game!
The biggest time sink with these animations was getting them all made, then working how to code it all in. All this is done now. I have a bunch more animations ready to add as we go along and they're going to take a fraction of the time of the first batch, as the framework is now all in place.
And I get that you want the story faster. No one does more than I do, haha! I know the last couple of updates have taken a ridiculously long time to get finished but that was down to unavoidable personal issues, unfortunately.
Some people think this is what I do full time. The truth is, I'm just one guy with (very) limited computer skills doing this whole thing alone, ON TOP of my 60/hr per week dayjob. Falling Stars doesn't have nearly enough support for me to even consider doing this as a part time job, let alone full time, which is why updates take as long as they take. I spend every spare moment I have on this thing but there are only so many minutes in a day, ya know?

I really appreciate the advice section when it gets to "open world" part.
that being said, it would be incredibly awesome if there was just like a "story mode" toggle that just auto to the next event being advised instead of needing to check it every time! Just an idea though, and I haven't gotten too far into the open world section so maybe this isnt possible later on in it. But if it is, in sure there are atleast a few others who would rather play this in visual novel mode!
Either way, great story so far! Really enjoying it. Especially when Saki started "singing" her favorite song lol.

I get what you're saying about the 'toggle' button but there's a reason I didn't go for something like that.
There are a lot of things in the open world part of the game, like the House Show matches, Taka phone calls, Sunset road stories etc which aren't generally essential reading for the main story but they're a big part of making Todogawa a whole world.If there was a skip button, I think a lot of people would just miss out on some this.
That said, if you have any other ideas for the game, I'm always open to suggestions! :)
wasn't wanting to skip anything. Just wanted something to make it so I could just keep going without having to choose what to do next.
After playing a bit more, I've got a much better idea: a way to auto start next event. Like, instead of clicking report -> (read tip) -> category -> girl. Just hit "next event". If you meet the requirements you'll start it (or it will do a warning like: have you done the house shows yet? - maybe an additional warning if the ability level isn't high enough!)
Just alot of clicks to do something when all there really needs to be is one. Not really a big deal though. But itd be super nice!
I can't tell whether I love the game or hate it, the story is pretty fun and engaging even if choices are just an illusion (pretty usual though), the game has pretty alright humour and the characters are fun
Besides the MC. If I had to point to the reason why I hate this games at points, it'd be the MC and maybe Sunset.
The MC is constantly going between being too passive to actually have any impact and being too dumb to make good/meaningful decisions, to the point where it's no surprise that Sunset is effectively the real MC and makes all the decisions.
At the same time, Sunset makes right decisions, and then proceeds to explain them as if they were for the wrong reasons.
Spoilers ahead to illustrate what I mean:
How to deal with your pupil lashing out at the fans AGAIN? Praise them for it, Sunset. Oh wait that backfired and they almost got their legs broken but then they get saved by a 100% unknown character you just never met before that is totally not the girl you just met half an hour ago who just told you not to fall for the trap? I'm sure the MC can figure it out... After he gets told that right in his face about a month later.
God, I love this and I hate this at the same time, why must you torture me so to make such fun dialogues and an interesting story and then an MC who doesn't contribute cause his leg brokey and his brain is actually a brick.
Anyway, I love you and hate you... Just a bit though. 8/10 and I am not too proud of it lol

Just wanted to chime in and say I absolutely love this game! I don't even like wrestling (although this has sparked something of an interest in the sport for me) but with the whole "tips" thing it really explains it well and doesn't come across as talking down at all and makes it feel very inclusive.

Glad you're enjoying things so far and that the tips are helping :) Honestly, even for those of us who've been watching wrestling for many years, some of the lore and inside references can get pretty confusing at times and the level of 'gatekeeping' from certain people can be outright ridiculous. Not here, though! Todogawa welcomes all visitors ;)

Then, the next major update, V.0.8.0, I'm hoping will be before the end of the year. I'm hard at work on it right now but unfortunately it's been slow going due to real life work commitments. It's going to be a BIG update, though, so I'm hoping you'll all feel it's worth the wait! :)
Hey man, thanks for the update. I think I can speak for everyone when I say quality over quantity. Most devs seem to do a 3 month release cycle and they're at least decent size. I'll be a happy man if you can keep that flow. Big WWF fan when I was a kid and a lot of the references I get. Nothing like the glory days in the 80's and 90's. Keep up the good work!
Quality is what I'm always going for, which is one of the reasons why larger updates have been taking so long recently.
On the other hand, though, it means that major updates for this game are usually pretty big. The last one had over 2 hours of new content, V.0.8.0. will probably be a little bigger than that.
Ideally, I'll get back to the the 3 month cycle which is around what I was hitting up to V.0.6.0. but real life has a habit of constantly getting in the way, haha!
Also, totally agree on the glory days! I miss AJPW, ECW...even The Brooklyn Brawler and Barry Horowitz!
Yeah real life has a habit of doing that. Why must we adult and stuff? That's awesome! I really enjoy it. It become one of my top VNs after like 15 minutes and I was glued to my chair.
ECW was awesome. Sandman!! He was like dollar store Steve Austin but he was awesome. Then you had Andre The Giant, Hacksaw, Foley, the list goes on. The greats will never be forgotten.
They have a local group that goes around by us. My girls and I catch them whenever they're around. They're really awesome. They stop and chat with fans, get pictures and stuff.

I am not even like 15 minutes in and I already absolutely love this game haha. The custom names for everyone is such a nice touch. As a wrestling fan this is just a good time. Do the choices matter though? I don't want to make the wrong choices.
Thank you, glad you're enjoying it! Choices DO matter to an extent, but they mostly influence how certain people act towards you, rather than affecting the overall story. For example, if you're constantly mean to Mirai, she's going to remember that going forward, and will act differently than if you were more affectionate. That said, you'll always be given a chance to correct things later if you find your relationship with anyone going in a way you don't like. There are no 'right or wrong' choices, just play it how you feel is right for you, and you'll be fine :)
Appreciate the reply! One last question for ya, if you choose "hate" with Saki does it lock you into that for the rest of the game? Curiosity may have killed the cat on that one haha.
Also I appreciate all the actual hidden wrestler names in here. I guess my mind could be drawing conclusions where there aren't any but my brain associates Sunset Manami with Manami Toyota, Jumbo Tsushima with Jumbo Tsuruta, ect ect. Iron Head feels like a strange cross between Mitsuharu Misawa, Minoru Suzuki and Tully Blanchard (mostly because Tessa) aswell lmao. Good stuff.
No, you won't get locked in to any particular fetish, you'll always get the option to choose whichever one you want :) And good work on those names, you're spot on with both Sunset and Jumbo, haha! With Iron Head, I honestly didn't write him with any particular wrestler in mind, he's more of an amalgamation of lots of shady promotors, but the Tully comparison makes a lot of sense! There are a lot more of these kind of 'easter eggs' in the game, so let me know if you find any more :)
Found tons more, or atleast think I did haha. Obviously Kenta Misawa is Mitsuharu and Kobashi, and I believe Outback Mac is a play on Thumbtack Jack? and more I just can't think of now. I'm a bit new to japanese wrestling and joshi in particular (mostly familiar with the 4 pillars, Hayabusa & Jinsei and a few women from FMW/AJW) so some are a tad lost on me, Manami Hokuto is Akira Hokuto i believe. Finished the game, it's incredible and there is such an insane amount of content. If i can ever afford it I will deff join the patreon. This is genuinely one of the best games i've ever played on this site and like might be up there with the headmaster for me. I cannot give it enough praise.
I do seem to be missing 2 scenes though. #7 on page 2 and #1 on page 3. I don't think I skipped over anything, mind filling me in on what they are?

As to the 'missing' stuff, I'm guessing you mean in the replay gallery? There are a few scenes where choices can add or remove a scene, for example, there's Saki's cosplay scene which is one of the ones you're missing. If you choose the 'Ann' cosplay, you miss the 'Tifa' one, and vice versa, and there's another choice with Mirai that works out in slightly different ways depending on how you've been treating her. There aren't a lot of scenes you can lock yourself out from, but I'll try to work out some way for everyone to unlock anything they've missed for the next vesion :)

Whenever you think you've played all good NSFW games you find another hidden gem.
This game is very well written, the characters are likeable (or unlikeable when need be) with distinct and consistent personalities. H-scenes are plenty and well done, often with slight variations to choose from. Very excited to see the future development.
I had recently played the 0.2.3 version of this since I downloaded it a while ago, and it's great that there is a game like this that involves Wrestling.
But I wanted to ask will is there any plans for scenes with Kris later on in the game?
Glad you're enjoying it so far! There will be plenty more scenes with Kris, but I'm not sure if you're asking about storyline or sex scenes.
If you mean sex scenes...possibly. BUT Kris is only into girls, so if anything does happen, it won't be directly with the MC. Kris is really more of a storyline character than any kind of sexual one.
