To let you know how work is coming on the next update, this is a list of new scenes that will be going in there and how many of them are completed so far.

(Miscellaneous refers to smaller jobs like reworking bits of code, making new character models and smaller events like Taka Phone Calls and Sunset Road Stories)

So, not a bad amount of work done this week but I didn't catch up quite as much as I'd wanted to. I'm starting to realise I may have been a bit overambitious with how much I'd be able to get done with doing this alongside my full time job.

I did decide to cut one of the Saki scenes but it's really not a habit I want to get into. I only did it this time as I feel Saki had enough content in this version to justify it. I would much rather take a little longer and give you the version I intended to, than give you something a little watered down.

The upshot of this is, it's looking unlikely that this version will be done in time for the first week of February, unfortunately. My apologies! BUT we're not a million miles away, either, so the second week of February still looks totally acheivable.

There is some good news, however! The single biggest complaint about the game so far is the lack of background music. I spoke to someone last week who is interested in writing some original music for the game! He's a really good musician and hopefully I will be getting some samples from him at some point this week, which I will post on our Discord.
